Aishwary Agrawal on mission to achieving two main goals which are Hunger eradication and Education.

This is Aishwary Agrawal, working as a Associate Consultant in Capgemini India and I am the founder of an organization called Anmolpahal. I would like to discuss the initiative which I have started when I was in my third year of engineering. It all started when I decided to went with my father one day to distribute food and from that day I have decided, I have to do something for underprivileged children. Anmolpahal is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization(it's running by a group of crazy people like me from our own money) that works towards achieving two main goals which are Hunger eradication and Education. We don't take any donations.

Anmolpahal strives to feed as many as underprivileged people as possible.

Till now we have provided 10000+ meals(in Allahabad, Varanasi, and Vashi, Thane, Airoli, Navi Mumbai, India).

During the COVID-19 pandemic also our small organization doing his best. We were providing food to migrant workers. Total anmolpahal has 45 volunteers.  

We are also conducting teaching sessions on the weekend, our volunteers go to the slum areas and teach them basics English and Mathematics. We have started this with seven children and now we have near about 30+ children in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. But, now we are planning to collaborate with the government body. We are planning to give training to underprivileged children for a year and then will try to get the admission in a government school. And will support them in their education. We are also planning to launch a "share your meal" campaign to promote not to waste food in our society.   

In the slum area, women don't use sanitary napkins. They are using alternative of pads, which is not good for their health. So we are teaching them about the importance of the use of sanitary pads during their periods. Donated pads as well.
